Q. What do you provide?
A. Christian Counters offers a free counter service, which provides a graphical record (on your site) of the number of people who have visited your site. Our Counters not only track the number of people that come to your Website it also tells the world that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
Q. How many counters can I use?
A. You are not limited to the number of individual counters you register. You're welcome to register more than one counter for all of your webpages.
Q. Do I have to put advertising on my site?
A. Built in to the Christian Counter code is a return link under your counter which links back to the christiancounters.com homepage. Sometimes we will add a test link to an important website or sponsor to help us keep this site free for everyone to use.
Q. Can I edit my counter number?
A. Absolutely! Your counter will normally start counting from 0, but you can manually enter in a higher number. You might wish to do this if you decide to join Christian Counters, but want to keep an old homepage count which you acquired via another counter service. Simply go to the Edit Page to manually modify your counter number.
Q. How many different counters can I chose from?
A. We have twenty varied styles to choose from.
Q. How is my personal information used by Christian Counters?
A. We utilize your personal information within the Christian Counters network to notify you of changes within the network or new features. Your information will not be sold or marketed by the christiancounters.com site to outside commercial entities.
Q. Can anyone use this free service?
A. Yes and No, don't you just love those answers.. :-). We would love everyone in the world to take advantage of this free service and to help spread the word of our Lord & Savior. We know that there are a lot of Websites that are promoting non-biblical ideas, anti-Christian views as well as hate and pornographic sites. WE WILL NOT ALLOW USE OF OUR COUNTERS FOR THESE TYPES OF WEBSITES. Your account will be terminated immediately if your counter is being used on these types of sites. The staff of christiancounters.com will have the final say in what is deemed to be appropriate. If you are in question you can email us and ask but
if you have to ask, we doubt it will be an acceptable website.
Q. Can I keep the counter from changing when I visit my own site?
A. Yes, this is the newest function we have added to our free service. Just log into your control panel and type in your IP address or any list of IP addresses you would like to Not trigger the counter when visiting your page. This works best when you have a static IP address.
Q. I am using MSN for my free website hosting. Can I use the free counters on my site?
A. We have found that MSN does not allow installing java script (the code that the counter uses).
Q. We want to have our own website can you recommend a good place to buy website hosting?
